Enveloped in a 100-percent cotton 240-thread count cover that is sewn end-to-end with a 10-1/2-inch box stitch and has baffle box construction, the down inside the comforter is compartmentalized, so it stays in place and won't leave thin, cold spots. This hypoallergenic comforter is filled with 29 ounces white goose down for a 550 fill power. The quality of down is determined in large part by its fill power, which measures how many cubic inches of space one ounce of down occupies prior to filling a comforter. Higher fill power indicates larger, stronger clusters of down and thus higher quality. With a fill power of 550, this comforter offers superior softness and quality to last for years to come.
